Implants are artificial roots of teeth. They are anchored deep within the jaw bone. A dental implant assumes the same function as the original tooth root, since it grows directly with the bone.
Today, implants are the ideal solution when it comes to dentures. In terms of both looks and function, implants are far superior to traditional methods such as bridges or completely removable dentures. Once the healing process is complete, implants are the foundation for the denture and are just as durable as the original healthy tooth that came before it.

Periodontology is the treatment of conditions of the gums and periodontium, the apparatus that holds teeth in place.
Periodontitis, or inflammation of the gums, can go unnoticed for several years since it can be without pain. Often, the first sign is bleeding gums and a receding gum line. This may lead to loosening of the teeth or even tooth loss. If you are diagnosed with periodontitis, our practice offers a comprehensive treatment concept. This treatment is important not only for oral health and hence maintenance of your teeth but is key to the health of your whole body.
Endodontology is the field of dentistry that focuses on conditions of the roots of teeth.
The success of a root canal and hence the long-term preservation of the natural tooth can only be guaranteed by complete cleaning and disinfection of the canal structures. We accomplish these procedures using modern equipment and a proven rinsing system. After the structure has received a thorough medical cleaning, the interior of the tooth is sealed against bacteria using a natural rubber and a filler paste. This cost-effective method is used to prioritise maintaining the natural tooth substance.
The past several years has seen many advances in the options for dentistry procedures and methods. This includes a change that has seen aesthetics become its own special field, with an increased interest in cosmetic treatments and dental materials. In particular, the choice of materials today allows for a selection between full metal-ceramic crowns or filigree full-ceramic and transparent crowns, veneers or inlays. Our follow-up treatment options such as professional cleaning help us protect and preserve your radiant smile.

Our goal is to make your visit with us as pleasant as possible. You can help us achieve that goal: please arrange for your appointment in advance either in person or by telephone and bring your insurance card and your dental treatment record („Bonusheft“), if you have one, along with you on the day of your appointment. If you practice careful dental hygiene and have normal teeth with no dental issues, you should visit use at least once a year for a preventative exam; if you have dental concerns, we suggest you visit twice annually. We would be happy to advise you on a one-to-one basis.
